Not quite. On Christian attitudes to homosexuality and the false interpretation that gay sex is always wrong, it is more, “It does not make any sense to me, knowing what I do about God, Jesus and Scripture”.
That was Andrew Wilson’s point: what does anyone, including Rob Bell, KNOW about God, Jesus, and Scripture that indicates that gay sex is righteous and divinely approved– as opposed to changing cultural landscapes, what “makes sense” subjectively to any number of people, or what is popular enough not to “turn people off” to religion?
